Houston watercolor artist Anne Kinder chose a Texas flag after a conversation with her granddaughter who is a freshman at Chapman University in California. Her granddaughter commented that she’ll now be “from California”. Anne told her that she was born and raised in Texas and she’ll always be from Texas. So, wherever the student goes to college, he’ll always be “from Texas”. |
