Louisville native Paul Rogers spent his entire career as a sportscaster with WHAS radio. While he covered all sports, he is best known as the long-time play-by-play voice for the University of Louisville football and basketball teams. In addition he provided the radio calls of hundreds of races from Churchill Downs, including more than 30 Kentucky Derbys.
