Its no secret that the Bolivar Peninsula is birdy, and this trip is designed to showcase that diversity. From the Oak mottes of High Island, to the coastal dunes of Bolivar Flats, you and 5 guests will traverse the Peninsula in search of all the avian diversity it has to offer. Time-of-year will dictate which specific species we’ll see, but the goal remains the same: see more than 100 species for the day! Special emphasis can be placed on “target birding” for particular species. We’ll also have a chance to explore the ecology and history that makes the Bolivar Peninsula and our sanctuaries such a unique place to bird.
