Check out this great item that I found online. Purple is the color of royalty and penitence and used on the altar in Advent and Lent. I love the way the color purple is the background on the wood of the cross and brings majesty to the rugged cross with its nails and pain.

Sharing my journey with others in the form of creative art is my way of expressing myself spiritually. I pray and practice contemplative meditation as I paint. Balance and form come together as I empty my imaginary vessel of joy and peace. My hope is that the viewer of these works will feel the joy and peace that I put into it and feel blessed as I felt while creating it.
My work has been featured in art galleries in Houston at Mirabeau and The Carl Jung Center as well as galleries in Dallas, Texas and Greeley, Colorado. My work is exhibited at The Houston Medical Center and corporate offices as well as the private homes of art collectors. I studied art at The Corcoran Gallery while I attended The George Washington University and further studied under prominent painters.
Most of my works are acrylic on canvas. I have also painted wooded crosses and incorporated elements that I brought back from The Holy Land. All of my work has a spiritual connection for me.
