This delightful updated four bedroom, two bathroom Cape style cottage is located in a quiet family oriented neighborhood less than 100 yards from Pleasant Road beach.  Built in 1938, the house has recently been updated.  The home features many traditional Cape Cod details including knotty pine paneling and South Carolina yellow pine floors.

The first floor features a living room with a flat screen TV, wireless internet access and comfortable seating for 8 people. In addition, this level has a sun room perfect for reading, puzzling or just taking a nap.  The first floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen, laundry area, and full bath.  Finally, the first floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds.

The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath.  The master bedroom has a king size bed.  The second bedroom upstairs has two twin beds.  The house can sleep up to 8 people. Outside the house, there is a large, well maintained private yard.  The backyard has a deck with a picnic table and chairs, a gas grill and an enclosed outdoor shower.  The house has beach chairs, umbrellas and toys.

West Harwich is centrally located on Cape Cod.  Downtown Harwich (1.5 miles away) features fun shops and a wide variety of restaurants.  Our favorites include The Cape Sea Grill, The Ocean House, Brax Landing (great views and lobster rolls!), the Hot Stove (award winning clam chowder!), and Ember (outdoor bar with fire pit and live music).  Two other restaurants worth checking out are Chatham Bars Inn and Twenty Eight Atlantic.

Beyond the beach, the town has other fun attractions including three harbors with boat launches, fishing charters, seal and whale watches and a ferry to Nantucket Island and Martha's Vineyard.  Cranberry Valley, a top rated municipal golf course, is just a 10 minutes drive away. Nearby you can also find mini-golf, batting cages, go carts, trampolines, and bumper boats.  For those that like to ride bikes, the Cape Cod Rail Trail is a fantastic 25-mile scenic trail that runs right through town.  Also, close by is Whitehouse Field, home to the Harwich Mariners of the famous Cape Cod baseball league.
