Rob Sneed was one of College Mound's characters and he recently had his birthday into heaven. He became an accomplished wood carver during his lifetime and this whale is one of his early works that he completed in 1989. It won 4th place in the Texas State Fair in 1993. It is stained in a medium brown color with a matching base and stump in the vignette.
