What’s cooler than a classic 1970s open air, two-door Jeep CJ-5?  Probably only one thing… and that’s one that’s been fully restored and painted Strake Jesuit green with custom detailing!  

You might have seen a “Jesuit Jeep” at this year’s football games.   This street legal jeep was modeled on that one and commissioned just for the Under the Big Top auction.  It is in mint condition.  You will need to know how to drive a manual transmission, learning the “Jeep wave” might be a good idea, and you will have to be prepared for a groundswell of Jeep and Jesuit adoration everywhere you go!

As its name reflects, this year’s auction quilt is a wonderful blend of modern and traditional.  The quilt is made using high quality cotton fabrics in a pattern that looks like it has been painted with watercolors.  The vibrant blue, purple, green, and gold colors come together and blend into a very soothing overall effect. The layout of the blocks was inspired by the traditional barn-raising pattern, which has a diamond center surrounded by a series of larger diamonds radiating out from the center.  Watercolor Raising has the center off-set to give it amore contemporary look, complementing the modern look of the fabric.”

South Texas Adventure for Six

Sportsmen of all kinds will appreciate this extraordinary excursion! Travel to a private lodge situated on approximately 130,000 acres on the Kennedy Memorial Foundation Ranch near Baffin Bay.  Six people will spend two nights and three days hunting for turkey, hog, and nilgai. An aggregate total of two nilgai allowed for the group, and turkey is hunted during turkey season only.  Guests will also enjoy guided fishing for trout and redfish south of Baffin Bay with bait and poles provided.  Each guest will have their own private bedroom at the fully-staffed lodge. 

Guests will be responsible for the following: transportation to and from the ranch; bringing their own guns and ammunition; any costs associated with meat processing or mounting; and fishing and hunting licenses.  This trip will be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date by the donor and buyer during the months of April to August.  The trip will be set for a Tuesday noon arrival and a Thursday late morning departure

Coaches’ Crawfish Boil for 50+

Now in its 19th year, this auction favorite does not disappoint.  A team of Strake Jesuit coaches will arrive at your party location with 250 lbs. of live Louisiana crawfish to be boiled onsite with all of the fixins creating an ultimate crawfish feast.  Crawfish will be cooked to perfection and are known to be just a bit spicy, so the coaches will make sure to bring plenty of cold beer and soft drinks.  You and your guests can sit back and enjoy because the coaches do all of the cooking and cleaning.  This will be the easiest party you throw all year.  A little lagniappe for first timers…pinch, peel, eat, repeat!

This coveted reserved parking spot can be used by a Strake Jesuit student or his parents for 24/7 access and during all events in the 2022-2023 school year. Gone will be the days of circling the lot for a spot at all of the most crowded events – i.e. Follow Your Son’s Schedule, football games, Open House, Mothers’ Club meetings, Graduation, etc.! 

The buyer will have a choice of locations for this parking spot.  If your son is in band or orchestra, how about a spot near the Parsley Center for those 7am rehearsals?  If your son is rushing in for morning lift in the weight room, a spot by the athletic complex works well.  If your son likes to have breakfast on campus before class, maybe a spot with easy access to the Dining Hall?  Or if your son seems to be all over campus with his schedule, a spot in the new Loyola Hall lot might be his preference? 

This reserved parking spot will be available from August 1, 2022 through May 31, 2023. The Strake Jesuit student may be in any class.

Labrador Retriever Puppy

Whoever said you can't buy Happiness forgot little puppies.This light cream beautiful bundle of joy is ready to join your family! Your precious “Lola” is an AKC registered yellow female Labrador Retriever. Her parents are Pinky and Bentley.

Pinky is a beautiful blonde, very calm and reserved indoors but driven in the field. She loves to retrieve. She is a water-loving girl and would stay in the water full time if allowed to do so. Pinky is a loyal loving companion with a stocky build and classic retriever block head.

Bentley is both a hunting companion and family pet. Bentley is high drive in the field and has accomplished his HRCH (Hunting Retriever Champion) and SH (Senior Hunter) titles.

Lola was born on January 19, 2022 and will be 11 weeks old on the day of the auction. She will have received some basic puppy training prior to auction night. She will be a great hunting dog and a family member eager to please. She is coming from a great breeder where they “raise, compete, and breed Labrador Retrievers and strive to produce quality puppies that will excel in hunting homes as well as pet homes”.

Lola comes ready to take home with a puppy food package, collar and leash, puppy toys, and crate.

When Lola is ready for additional training, the Canine Country Club will be ready for her! They have donated a three-week Board and Train program complete with a spa day before she goes home to you.

Graduation 2022 Package

Location. Location. Location.

Graduation 2022 is scheduled for May 21st in Clay Stadium – the largest venue on campus. Leave the binoculars at home. Step right up to your reserved seats along the aisle in the row behind the Class of 2022 on the field. Yes, that’s right. On. The. Field.

The students will process in down the aisle past you and later gleefully march out as graduates with you snapping photos and taking videos. During the ceremony, you will enjoy the comfort of chairs (with backs!) rather than the bleachers. Your family will have the best view of all the action on the stage without turning in their seats or craning their necks.

The buyer of the package will receive reserved seats for the graduate’s entire family. Seats will be in the same row beginning with the chair on the aisle. Additionally, two reserved parking places will be provided for the graduate’s family.

The reserved parking places are also available for use on Friday evening for Baccalaureate Mass. At the buyer’s request, seats may be reserved for their family behind the graduates at Baccalaureate Mass also.

Celebrate your graduate with brunch for 10 people at Churrascos on his big weekend. The only thing you need to do is make your reservations in advance for this fabulous meal! Please note that reservations are required for brunch, and the buyer is responsible for alcohol, taxes, and gratuity.
