Whether or not you see anything you are interested in bidding on, would you please consider making a donation to our scholarship fund for local students entering K-State for the first time this fall.
Thank you for your interest in our auction. SEK Catbackers fundraising provides support for both the K-State Ahearn Fund which in turn supports our student-athletes and the K-State Alumni Association in providing scholarships for local students planning to enter K-State for the first time in 2021. We are sorry we are not having a live event this year, but the K-State Athletic Department is committed to returning to a traditional Catbacker Tour in 2022, with coaches and athletes again attending local events as they have for many years in the past.
Please understand that "popcorn bidding" has been enabled for all items in this auction. This means that the advertised end of the auction at 10:00 pm on Sunday, August 15 is not a hard deadline. Once that time has passed the auction will actually close only when no one places a new bid within 10 minutes of the previous bid. If you are interested in a specific item, please make sure you are available at 10:00 pm on Sunday, August 15. At that time the bidding for each item will remain open and resemble a live auction as long as new bids are received. It will end only when no new bid is received within 10 minutes of the previous bid.
In order to save shipping costs all items will be distributed by volunteers to various towns in southeast Kansas where they will be available for pickup. Details will be sent at the conclusion of the auction to the email address you provide when you register and winning bidders will be able to specify which town would be best for pickup of their item.
