On June 10-13, 2021, the Country Music Association will host the biggest and best annual celebration of country music in Nashville, Tennessee! Started in 1972 as “Fan Fair” at Municipal Auditorium in downtown Nashville, this event has grown over its nearly 50 years. In a brilliant move by CMA and the city of Nashville, in 2001 the festival moved to downtown which allows guests to not only take in the festival events, but peruse the awesome honky tonks and clubs that are so popular. For CMA Fest week in downtown Nashville, there are multiple stages set up in public areas. These include: Riverfront Park, Walk of Fame Park, the Bridgestone Arena Plaza, and more. The new Music City Center hosts Fan Fair X, an expo area with souvenirs, intimate stage performances and interviews, meet and greet opportunities, and more.

The biggest draw of the festival are the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium, where the Tennessee Titans play football. Justin Turner, Bernie’s Burger Bus owner, Camp Periwinkle burger chef, and winner of the Food Network’s competition show Chopped, will lead 10 guests in their own version of Chopped – Periwinkle Style! This is Justin’s variation of the Food Network’s competition show where chefs compete and turn baskets of mystery ingredients into a meal. Each guest will be provided a basket of ingredients and, however unlikely they might be (Gummi Bears, anyone?), Justin will host the party virtually and help you create a meal. Of course this is a competition, so take the edge off as you compete by indulging in these 4 bottles of wine from Northstar Winery.

Roll on in to the Periwinkle Movie Night! Drive-In movies are all the rage right now, and we couldn’t help but join the fun! Periwinkle will host your own private Drive-In Movie Night for up to 20 cars on a Saturday night in the Periwinkle office parking lot. The film is your choice from a list of selected reels.
