About This Item

Description of Item
Three bottles of Locally Produced Honey and a Cooking With Honey Book. When he is not working in his orchard or in his woodworking shop you will most likely find Norbert encouraging his honey bees to produce award winning honey. The American Honey Show is held at the American Beekeeping Federation Annual Convention each year in early January. Extracted liquid honey is divided into seven categories based upon color. It starts with Water White and proceeds through Dark. Norbert's honey has won first place and second place in 2014 and 2015. In 2016 his bees produced multiple colors of honey. He was able to enter five of the seven categories. The results took him by surprise. He won second place in three categories and first place in two categories. To top it off, one of the first place winners was judged to be Best in Show. In 2019 he again entered four color classes and won two seconds and two first place finishes. He missed Best in Show by one point.
