Doctor for a Day Dr. Palumbo and The Orthopedic Sports Clinic have provided medical coverage for Strake Jesuit's football program and their other athletic programs for many years. Here is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or Senior student at Strake Jesuit, who is interested in the medical field, to spend a day with Dr. Palumbo. The morning will be spent shadowing Dr. Palumbo in the clinic, learning the basics of history taking, physical examination and reading x-rays and MRI scans. During the afternoon you will observe Dr. Palumbo perform surgery at a state-of-the-art Orthopedic outpatient surgery center.This event will take place on a mutually agreeable Friday, when school is not in session, either during the summertime or other scheduled holiday. |
