| Description of Item |
Is your son an animal lover? Is he considering a career in veterinary medicine? Spend a day with Strake Jesuit Alumni, Dr. David Buelna and see first-hand the life of a veterinarian in a small animal practice. Dr. Buelna is co-owner and veterinarian at Circle B Veterinary Hospital and Circle B Bed ‘n Biscuits in Katy, Texas. His areas of interest include preventative medicine, digital ultrasound and radiography, surgery, internal medicine, and business management in veterinary medicine. The winner should expect observing surgical procedures, routine hospital visits, imaging, and day-to-day operations in a busy small animal veterinary practice. The student must be at least 15 years old to participate, and this event will take place on a mutually agreeable day.
