| Description of Item |
12.5" x 15.5" done in acrylic. This painting is by Donovan, a talented artist and camper who has attended camp for over 10 years. Donovan is profoundly deaf and legally blind. About five years ago, he and his mom, Rita, began attending painting classes as a way to help Donovan express himself. Donovan chooses his own paintings to do while in class. Rita assists Donovan in class by interpreting, through sign language, what the instructor is saying. |
