Nestled in the Flint Hills of Southeastern Kansas, SummerDuck Outfitters (SDO) is a full service waterfowl outfitter for the experienced waterfowler, or someone new to the sport. We hunt privately owned farms that consist of cut beans, milo or corn and the watersheds or farm ponds near them. SDO does not over hunt the ground we have. SDO will not hunt more than two groups of hunters daily. You will enjoy the many different ways we hunt.....dry field hunting is a big thrill as swarms of ducks and geese try to " bomb" you all at once. And then hunting big spreads of decoys on a 100 acre watershed or a couple dozen decoys on an acre farm pond.
This year at SDO, we are installing 2 permanent waterfowl impoundments and partnering with one of the largest farmers in the area for access to another one. So all said and done, we hunt just about every scenario possible to get you on birds.
Hunters will not need waders. Our guides handle all the wading chores. Your steady gun dogs are welcome. Just bring your waterfowl gear and you are all set. At SDO we strive to bring you the best waterfowl experience you can get at an affordable price.
