The children of CJ Simon and Edith Querbin’s Upper Elementary Class have assembled a gift basket full of pet care items that will be donated to Dallas Pets Alive, a local animal rescue society. Representatives of the class will deliver wthe gift basket to Dallas Pets Alive after the auction. The gift basket contains 325 of wish list items including leashes, pill pockets, toys and food. While the winner of the basket promises to give the basket back to the children, he or she will receive a special thank you gift certificate of $150 to Neighborhood Services Bar and Grill (NHS Bar and Grill) in Dallas. It’s a win-win! The winner gets a night out and the children learn the value of compassion and community service.
